Prostitution is an issue that the world faces on a day-to-day basis, and unfortunately, in certain areas the demand for such a profession is quite high. I had the opportunity to attend the END DEMAND rally on October 8th, 2014 in Worcester, MA, where I go to school, and photograph some of the people that were involved in the event. The purpose of the rally was to end the demand for prostitution, and protest the police department for not arresting Johns (customers who pick up prostitutes), as well as to accuse health service organizations, and lawmakers for not providing women involved with prostitution with proper care and support. I have also cited an article that I found in Worcester Magazine which describes the rally in further detail and was a source of aide for me in writing this blog post.
