Black and White Majesty

A Pinch of Radiance- These two flowers reminded me of two best friends; growing together and making each others' days brighter

Lonely Lemon- This is a lemon growing on a tree in my backyard. I like the way the sunlight is shining on it, creating an interesting shadow effect.

Flourishing Flowers- This picture creates a cheerful mood with the bright colouring of the folowers and well as the angle of the sun.

Waiting to escape- This is a picture of an orange growing on a tree in my backyard, waiting to be picked and enjoyed.

Piled up- My attempts to keep all of my stuff organised is slowly failing.

Stolen British Pop Can- This pop can was given to me on a British Airways flight, and I decided to keep it because I like the size of it. I also thought it was a cute souvenir, which was also free!

The Never Ending Stack of Magazines- The stack of all of the magazines I own seems to be growing taller and taller every time a new one is added.  I like the texture of all of all of the pages in each magazine, and when they are stacked on top of each other it looks like a wave of pages.

The Wise and Lovable Cat- This photo of my cat represents him very well. He is serious, but lovable and he is always there to put a smile on anyone's face.

Getting a Clearer View- This photo is of a pair of reading glasses, their clear positioning in the photo make them look powerful.  After all glasses do help an individual get a clearer view of anything they are trying to look at.  

Grafitti- Throughout certain parts of Los Angeles, there is grafitti on the sides of different buildings.  I found this work of art particularly interesting because it has very subtle and unique details. I also like the city skyline in the backgroud.



The Hotel with many Towers- This is a reflection of the many towers of a hotel.

Not Just an Ordindary Street- Sunset Boulevard is a well known street in Los Angeles, California.  The Nickelodeon studio is located on this street, as well as the beginnings of the walk of fame.



Festive Lights- These are street lights which lite a street in Los Angeles, California.  The lights really added character to the street, and this picture really brings out their brightness behind the dark night sky.

All you need is love- This is a picture of a coffee cup, which had a heart created on the top. I for one am a firm believer that the world would be a better place if there was a little more love.

Reflection- Although this picture is a bit blury, I still find it very interesting.  The photograph is a reflection of a cup of bubble tea and a buidling taken through the lense of sunglasses.

The place where the worlds greatest minds unite- This photo is of the clock tower at the Institute for Advanced Study.  I like the framing of the trees around the building, as well as the light blue color of the sky. 

Concrete Jungle where dreams are made of- This a view of The Empire State Building from a historical park in New York City, called "The High Line".  I like the background of the sky and the clouds along with the other city buildings around The Empire State building.

The Fountain of truth- This fountain is a part of Princeton University campus, I like the unique design of the fountain as well as well as the positioning of it along side the building.

The Bridge between two Buildings- This is a view from a park in Manhattan called "The High Line".  The park is built on an elevated historical freight rail line, which was used until the 1980's to distribute food within New York City. 

The Sailor kissing the Girl- The famous scene of the sailor kissing the girl in Times Square after World War II has been made into a mural.  I like all of the colors in this picture, and the city buildings that surround the mural, which is visible from "The High Line" in New York City.

One of a Kind Billboard- This is a billboard advert for a parking website, since parking is extremely difficult in Manhattan they are trying to convince people to use their website instead of praying that they'll find parking.

 

The Green Window- A window of the Princeton University graduate tower, which is surrounded by ivy. I like how the ivy is obstructing the window, creating an interesting framing effect around it.

The Roaring Atlantic- This is a picture of a wave thrasing against a rock. I like how this photograph shows the force of the wave, as well as the big splash of water.

English countryside- This is a picture of a part of the English countryside. I like how one can see both the natural beauty as well as a bit of the village.

Punting along the River Cam- This is a photo of the river cam, in Cambridge, England. I like how the photo depicts people punting in the river, this is a common sport that people enjoy. I also like how the photo shows the scenery around the river, including the bridge and the various plants.

Chained beauty- This is a picture of some roses in a rose graden. I like the way they are protruding over the chain, giving the picture an interesting effect.



A typical English day- This is a picture of a street in Oxford.  I like how it depicts daily life, as well as the different structures along the street.






English coastline- This is a picture of  a view of the English coastline, which was taken from a farm in Cornwall.  I like the capturing of the widespread landscape, as well as the sunset on the ocean.

Mango Madness-This is a picture of a plate of sliced mango. I like the realistic portrayal of the fruit, as well its vibrant orange color.

Varied Vegetables- This is a picture of a veggie stand in India, I like how it depicts the idea of an outdoor market.
